deleted my rotten spoiler and pretty much repainted the back half of my z in my garage/poor man's paint booth. I had painted laquer before back in the 80's, but I had no experience with HVLP (high volume low pressure) and BC/CC (base coat/clear coat). The project was a success, so much so that I fixed my daughter's car.
However.....with all the prep-work supplies (sandpaper,filler,wax&grease remover, shop towels, more sandpaper) and the paint supplies (reducer, epoxy primer, poly-fill primer, hardener)and the top coat (approx.$120.00 per quart)and clear coat.....it's very expensive, not to mention dangerous to your and your family & neighbor's lungs. Good learning experience. I got "painting skills" now.
